Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Mahatma Otoo and Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Rashid Sumalia have been granted permission by Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah to stay with their clubs for Wednesday’s Glo premier league matches.
As a result, the two players have not been at the Black Stars training which started on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
They are part of five local players on the 25-man list released by the coach ahead of Ghana’s 2014 world cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho.
The duo will join the team after Wednesday’s matches for the trip to Ethiopia.
Otoo, who tops the scorers chart, will lead Accra Hearts of Oak against Abusua Dwarfs while Rashid Sumaila will also help Kotoko in their title defence when they travel to Kpando to take on Heart of Lions.
