Otoo has taken the lead on the scorer’s chart with 16 goals in his name helping the Phobians to improve their standings on the 16-team log.
Otoo, who recently extended his contract with Hearts of Oak for one more season, has been described by the Black Stars coach as a “special player.”
“Mahatma is now a special player and the best I've seen now in our local league though we have very good players in the local scene,” Appiah told Sunyani-based Moonlite FM.
“He has been playing in the league for some time but his improvement has been tremendous and he makes the difference in games.”
