Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng says he cannot wait to kick-start his Fulham career after the official announcement by the Premier League side on Wednesday on his move.
The 30-year-old announced on Monday that he had joined Martin Jol’s side after several previous attempts fell through.
The club confirmed it this afternoon to end all speculations about the transfer of the former Dnipro player.
The former Getafe and Cologne player joined the Cottagers on a free transfer for one-year with an option for a further year.
“I give thanks to the manager and board for believing in me, I am here to do my best for the club
“It is such a blessing for me to sign for this big club,” Boateng told the club’s official website.
“When I played against them at my Dnipro days, I liked the way the fans cheered the team though I was on the other side.
“I always want to win the ball and distribute it and I want to help this team because I have worked hard to come here,” the former Israeli based player added.
