The youngster who was making his 27th league appearance for Sassuolo scored in the 27th minute as they shared the points with Virtus Laciano

In-form Ghanaian midfielder Yussif Chibsah Raman was on target as Sassuolo drew 2-2 with Virtus Laciano in the Italian Seria B on Saturday.

The talented youngster who has been one of Sassuolo's best players of the season scored in the 27th minute with a close tap in to put the visitors’ two goals to one up after centre-back Gaetano Vastola's fourth minute strike has been cancelled in the 18th minute by Dominico Berradi.

Chibsah who was making his 27th appearance for the club since moving on loan from Parma was the man of the match at the Stadio Guido Biodi where he captured the midfield with his incisive passes, surging runs and good tackles.

The goal which was his second this season for the club from midfield was cancelled by Antonio Piccolo four minutes before the break to make the tie two all.

Both sides came into the game with the Ghanaian midfielder always in the thick of affairs but it ended 2-2 as Sassuolo maintained their lead on the top.

Striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom replaced Leonardo Pavoletti in the 59th minute.
