The executive chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. K.k Sarpong has appointed Dr. Ernest Opoku as the new man in charge of public and supporters relations of the club.
The medical doctor starts work with immediate effect after the position became vacant just a few days ago.
He replaces Listowell Yesu Bukardson who has been moved to the marketing department.
Dr. Opoku who owns Redhill hospital in Kumasi is a known fan of Kotoko who has helped the club in diverse ways behind the scenes.
It is on record that he has been offering free medical services to some of the players and officials of the club.
