Ghana and FC Porto midfielder Christian Atsu could be on his way to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Porto winger has previously been linked with a move to the White Hart Lane to reunite with his former manager Andre Villas-Boas who gave the youngster his debut while in charge of the Portuguese side.
After failing to get the services of the midfielder, Villas-Boas is now hopeful of landing the services of Atsu who has an £8 million buyout clause on his contract.
The 20-year-old has struggled to get regular place in the Porto first team making just seven league appearance this season.
Atsu also played a part in Porto's Champions League games this season after coming from the bench to feature in all eight games for the Portuguese side.
The winger who has just a year left on his contract is also been monitored closely by another English Premier League outfit Everton and Sunderland.
