The inspirational captain of the Phobians who has bagged 12 goals in both the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup says he could end the season with a personal prize
The former Sporting Mirren forward has been in fine form this season, which earned him a Black Stars called-up for last month’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
Otoo is currently a goal shy of Amidaus Professionals player Yahaya Mohammed who leads the goal king chart with 11 goals.
The 21-year-old is hopeful of aiding the 2000 Caf Champions League winners to end the season in a respectable position, however, he said finishing the term with a personal prize will be a delight.
“The season’s top scorer? Why not! Of course, the team comes first, but I am very happy my goals count this season and I wouldn’t mind bringing it up further,” he told Hearts News.
Otoo has scored 12 goals in both the Ghana Premier League and the Ghana FA Cup.
