Massive boost for Ghana as Porto’s Atsu fully recovers

The Porto midfielder is back on his feet after suffering an ankle sprain three weeks ago and this comes as good news to Ghana ahead of their next World Cup qualifier
Ghana have been handed a massive boost after the return of dazzling winger Christian Astu from injury.

The Portugal-based midfielder played for his side for the first time in three weeks after suffering from an ankle injury.

He came in as a substitute for Steven Defour in the 64th minute of the game at their favourite home grounds Estádio Do Dragão and helped FC Porto to triumph over Braga 3-1.

Atsu’s return will boost Ghana’s chances of making it pass Zambia to Brazil 2014 World Cup as his inclusion will bring to bear the needed bite.
