Twenty-six players have been called for the Local Black Stars and among them are Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper Fatau Dauda, Godfred Saka of Aduana Stars and Hubert Ampah

Accra Hearts of Oak’s in-form captain Mahatma Otoo has been named in a 26-man selection for the Local Black Stars.

The call-ups also include the current leading goal scorer of the Ghana Premier League Yahaya Mohammed of Amidaus Professionals and Ashantigold’s Yakubu Mohammed. The team will begin camping from April 2 in Obuasi.

Only one second-tier player, Hubert Ampah from Eleven Wise made the cut into a list dominated by players from the domestic top flight league.

The training programme at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi will end on April 11, 2013.
