Black Satellites secure vital win to revive African Youth Championship hopes

Coach Sellas Tetteh and his charges can head into their final group game with some amount of confidence after winning their second game against Benin
The Black Satellites of Ghana snatched all three points against Benin in a 1-0 win on Tuesday evening.

An Ebenezer Assifuah 55th minute goal made the difference between both sides to give the Ghanaians a glimmer of hope in the African Youth Champion ongoing in Algeria.

That was the second goal of the tournament for Assifuah, who was immense for his side in the west Africa derby.

The Ghana Under-20 side lost their opening game against Egypt last Saturday and the win over their west African neighbours could boost their confidence level ahead of their next game against hosts Algeria.

The Black Satellites are now joint top with Egypt on three points each ahead of the other game between the hosts Algeria and Egypt later on Tuesday night.
