thumbnail Hello,

The Ghanaian winger who has been the best player of Al Nassr so far in their Confederations Cup campaign is very confident that they can go all out

In-form Ghana midfielder Francis Akwaffo is very optimistic that his club Al Nassr Benghazi of Libya will sail through when they meet Moroccan giants FAR Rabat in the next stage of the Caf Confederations Cup.

Akwaffo was in fantastic form for the Libyan side when they knocked out Sudanese champions Al Khartoum via a 2-1 aggregate over the weekend.

“We have been drawn to play FAR Rabat and it is not going to be easy as it is a pure north African derby,” he told Ghana.

“Surely we will beat them and progress even further. We have what it takes to go all out and win the Confederations Cup and we are very determined.

“The game will be full of tension and action packed but at the end we will beat them to go through,” Akwaffo stated.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko kingpin who is on a six-month loan deal from Egyptian side Al Ittihad Sakndary has been very impressive for Al Nassr and one of their best players both in the league and the Confederations Cup.
