The former Berekum Chelsea striker scored both goals for his side in their 2-0 away win over Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Second Division League.
The 24-year-old is on loan from Turkish top flight side Orduspor and has scored 12 goals in 22 matches for Karsiyaka this season.
Banahene’s goals have helped Karsiyaka to the promotion play-off position on the league log after 25 matches played.
The bulky forward will be hoping to maintain his scoring form for Karsiyaka in order to force his way back into coach Héctor Raul Cúper’s Orduspor side next season, where he will be playing at the Turkish top flight league.
Banahene won the 2010-2011 Ghana Premier League title with Berekum Chelsea.
