Kumasi Asante Kotoko expected to arrive in Equatorial Guinea Thursday for Caf CL tie

The Ghana champions are expected to arrive in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea on Thursday morning ahead of the Caf Champions League encounter

Ghana champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko left Accra on Wednesday afternoon for their return leg of the Caf Champions League preliminary round against Sony Ela Nguema.

A 30-man contingent including 18 players, four technical team, two media officers as well as the chairman of the Ashanti Regional Football Association and an Executive member of the Ghana FA.

Striker Nafiu Iddrisu has replaced injured Kofi Nti Boakye who failed to recover in time from an injury sustained in the first leg game in Kumasi which the Porcupine Warriors won 7-0.

A draw or a win in Equatorial Guinea will see the Porcupine Warriors qualifying to the next stage of the competition.
