The former King Faisal and Accra Hearts of Oak CEO said the current Kotoko team is by far the best side in the league and has the fire power to retain their league title
Football Administrator Vincent Sowah Odotei says he believes Kumasi Asante Kotoko will win the Ghana Premier League this season.
The former King Faisal and Accra Hearts of Oak CEO said the current Kotoko team is by far the best side in the league and has the fire power to retain their league title.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently four points adrift of league leaders Medeama Sporting Club lying third with 26 points heading into the second round of the league which started this weekend.
“Brekum Chelsea, Aduana Stars and current leaders Medeama are all capable of winning this season's league, but I believe Kotoko will win the league," Odotei told GBC Sports.
"They are by far the best team in the league and will come into the second round with much confidence judging from their Caf Champions League outing against Sony Ela Nguema and for me I believe they will win the league come the end of it."
“The first round of the league was very competitive and I am just hoping it will continue that way in the second round even though most of the teams are currently faced with financial difficulties," he noted.
Asante Kokoto will begin the second round of the Ghana Premier League with a home tie against Liberty Professionals on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
