The coach who signed the Ghanaian has called it quits due to the club’s poor form in the French Ligue 1
Eric Hely, the head coach of Sochaux, the club which Ghana international Ishmael Yartey features for in the French Ligue 1 has resigned from his position.
The 48-year-old Frenchman cited the club’s poor form in the league as his main reason for vacating his post.
Hely was the one who signed the Ghana international from Portuguese side Benfica last summer in a $5 Million move.
His assistant Benard Genghini is expected to lead the team whilst the management finds a permanent replacement.
