The respected Ghana referee is already looking ahead to the second round of Ghana's Premier League
Fifa referee William Agbovi says he is confident that the standard of officiating in the second round of the Ghana Premier League will greatly improve.
The Ghana Premier League resumes after a long break for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations on February 24, 2013.
With the second round of the Ghanaian top flight league expected to run for a little over four months, the Referees' Association will play key roles to ensure there is fair officiating across the country.
“There has been a lot of improvement in officiating in the first round although there were some ups and downs," Agbovi said on Metro TV.
"We [are] looking ahead into the second round and I believe myself and my other colleagues have learnt from our mistakes going into the second round. There will be high level of performance.”
