Ghana winger, Christian Atsu on Tuesday night helped FC Porto to beat Spanish side, Malaga 1-0 in the first leg of the round of 16 stage of the Uefa champions league.
The 21-year-old who is just fresh from the 2013 Afcon came on in the 70th minute and helped the Portuguese champions to protect the 1-0 scoreline provided by Joao Moutinho in the 56th minute.
Atsu successfully manned the left wing as the Dragons ended the first leg at the Estadio do Dragao as narrow winners ahead of the return leg in Spain in three weeks time.
Porto are two-time winners of the Uefa champions league.
