Ghana's FA Cup champions need a win at all cost against Diables Noirs in order to boost their chances of making a progress in the Caf Confederations Cup
Edubiase qualified to play in the second tier of Africa’s continental football after winning the FA Cup in Ghana last season.
But they have not had a good campaign in the current domestic season as they lie 11th on the 16-team table.
The Congolese have a slight advantage since they are not new to the competition.
However, the Ghanaian side will be counting on home support to kick start their campaign in the first leg of the first leg set of matches in the preliminary round on a good note.
Asiedu Attoborah will be a weapon for the home side while the experiences of Iddrisu Yahaya and striker Stephen Manu who have all tasted continental football will be expected to play key roles.
Goalkeeper Eric Nii Baah will need to be vigilant as the visitors will possess a dangerous trio of Lolo, Tamboulas and Kumara.
