Sulley Sariki Muniru, the kid brother of Black Stars and AC Milan midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari, has been included in the Europa League squad of Romanian giants CFR Cluj.
The talented youngster was signed by the Railway Men during the January transfer window as a replacement for Senegalese playmaker Modou Sougou who left the club for Olympic Marseille.
“I just got to Italy with my team-mates. We are playing Inter Milan on Thursday and I am in the 23-man squad,” Muniru told Goal.com Ghana.
“I hope to do my best to help my new team get to the top and also get a call into the Ghana national Under-20 team.”
The 18-year-old who was the kingpin of the Liberty Professionals youth team failed to land a deal with Real Madrid despite impressing on trials with them.
He started his career with Ashanti Akim Missiles, a colts club in his hometown of Konongo and helped his Alma Mater Abuakwa State College to win the national Milo Championship where he was voted the best player.
