The MLS player is confident to repeat his Chicago Fire form with his new side as he enjoys pre-season with themGhana international Dominic Odoro says he is delighted at his move to MLS side Columbus Crew and insists his focus remains on winning laurels with his new club.
The 27-year-old forward joins the Black & Gold from Chicago Fire in exchange for Crew midfielder Dilly Duka.
The capture of speedster Oduro is key to Columbus Crew as they continue to revamp their squad ahead of the Major League Soccer playoffs.
Oduro, who joins the Crew after spending two seasons in Chicago, scoring 18 goals and assisted on five more in 66 appearances with Chicago Fire, is confident of success with The Massive.
"I am delighted to be joining Columbus Crew," Oduro told Goal.com Ghana.
"I have been at Chicago Fire for almost two seasons. I will always love the club but now my focus is getting to form a formidable force and partnership with my team-mates in other to achieve something big for the club. I’m currently with the team on pre-season and I’m loving the reception and desire in the club."
Oduro won the MLS Golden Boot award in 2011 with Chicago Fire after scoring 12 times in his first season.
Over his seven-year MLS career, the Ghanaian has scored 33 goals and 17 assists in 183 appearances.
