Ghanaian midfielder Jeff Ofori has started talks with Konyaspor IF in the Swedish Sodra Svealand for a possible move before the start of the league season next month.
The former IK Bro player who scored 29 goals in 40 appearances in his debut season in Sweden is well convinced a deal might go through soon.
“Talks have started between me, my agent and Konyaspor IF,” he told Goal.com Ghana. “I have been training with them and the coach Moses Nsebuga is very impressed with me.”
“Hopefully a deal will go through soon for me to play for them in the coming season.”
Ofori, 23, who is originally owned by Panellinois IF spent last season on loan with Bagarmossen Kattorp BK where he impressed greatly.
The holding midfielder played for Ghana Division One side Bolgatanga Juventus before leaving for Sweden in 2009.
