Goal.com understands that the 22-year-old Italy international said his goodbyes to team-mates and club staff after completing training at Carrington on Monday morning, and could travel to Milan over the next 24 hours.
Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola arrived in Manchester to present the Serie A side’s latest bid for the striker to City officials on Monday morning, Goal.com UK reported.
According to The Sun, Boateng could be offered plus cash for the former Inter player.
The deal between City and AC Milan has been pegged at 17 million euros plus the Ghanaian.
Manchester City are reported to have downplayed the reports, but no official statement has been made.
