Emmanuel Frimpong joins Fulham and this could signal the collapse of Derek Boateng's transfer

The Ghanaian midfielder has crossed over to their fellow Londoners for the rest of the season in search of regular playing time

Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Frimpong has joined Fulham on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old recently returned from a six-week stint with second tier side, Charlton Athletic.

Fulham revealed the deal on their official Twitter feed and Frimpong re-iterated the point by tweeting: "Fulham here I come''.

This looks very likely to end Derek Boateng’s dreams of joining the Craven Cottage side.

The Ghanaian player, based in Ukraine had  a medical at Fulham before the 2013 Afcon but the long wait for any news of a potential transfer makes it clear that the deal has fallen through especially with the capture of Frimpong.
