The forward has severed ties with the Phobians because he feels his services were not needed anymoreStriker Edward Affum has left Accra Hearts of Oak due to what he described as unfair treatment.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player said he will be focusing more on personal training to keep his shape until he signs for a new club next season.
Speaking to Fox FM in Kumasi, Affum confirmed he had secured his release card and has nothing to do with the Phobians again.
“I have just secured my release card from Hearts of Oak. I will now do my personal training until next season when I can register for another club,” Affum was quoted on Footy-Ghana.
He added: “When you realise that you are not needed, then you have to take a decision. Sometimes, I was not called to camp and I was sometimes told that my jersey is missing. So I realised that they did not need my services.”
