Ghana’s Jeff Schlupp joins Manchester United for a week’s trial
The 20-year-old has been with the Red Devils to gain some experience and may as well land him a deal now or in the near future at Old Trafford
Ghana international Jeff Schlupp is training with English Premier League giants Manchester United, confirms Leicester boss Nigel Pearson.
Pearson disclosed as a result of the “good relationship with United” the young striker has been allowed “to go there for a week” because “it is a great opportunity for him.”
The 20-year-old is also being observed by the Red Devils’ boss Sir Alex Ferguson and Pearson has told the Leicester Mercury, “If anything comes of it, we will wait and see. They have had a good look at him.”
Schlupp has played for the Germany Under-19 side. He made his Ghana debut in November 2011 in a non competition game against Gabon.
