According to the head of business of Glo, John Vasikaran, the company has enjoyed the fullest cooperation and understanding of the GFA, GHALCA and the Premier league Board and they are very pleased with that rapport.
“Since 2008, we have been sponsoring the Ghana (Glo) Premier league as well as the Black Stars and we strongly believe that this money will serve as a good motivation for Ghana football, especially the Black Stars to bring home the Afcon trophy,” he indicated.
“$1.5 million of the amount is going to the Black Stars whilst the premiership clubs have $75 Million and we hope that it will contribute to the success of the Black Stars campaign in South Africa.”
