The second-tier sides have been given footballs to help ease the pressure on them as they prepare for the lower division league
The Ghana League Club Association has donated footballs to the 47 registered Division One clubs in the country to help them prepare adequately for the league.
The footballs which were donated to them are expected to go a long way to help them in their training schedules.
“GHALCA have donated a set of footballs to the registered division one clubs to help them prepare adequately in training,” a close source to the chairman Alhaji Raji told Goal.com Ghana.
“This is just the first step, more items will be distributed to them to help release some of the burden on the clubs.”
This weekend’s round of division one games came off on Saturday and the others are scheduled for Monday because of the Black Stars game with DR Congo in the 2013 Afcon on Sunday.
