thumbnail Hello,

The many supporters unions from the West African country have promised the days of disunity among them at major tournaments is a thing of the past

The various Ghanaian supporters unions have promised to remain united and place the interest of Ghana first during the 2013 Africa cup of nations in South Africa.

There are over ten supporters unions in Ghana who always find it difficult to unite during tournaments due to the struggle for recognition.

The Government of Ghana has funded 1000 Ghanaian football fans across all the unions for the 2013 Afcon.

The fans are bent of working together as a team.

“We will not repeat the 2010 world cup incident when there was a lot of indiscipline among supporters.

“We want to comport ourselves so that the government will continue to support us.

“At the Afcon, we will mix up and see each other as a brother,” president of the Die-Hard supporters union, Abraham Nkansah told Accra based, Radio XYZ.

The president of the Nationwide supporters union buttressed the point of his colleague when contacted by Goal.com Ghana.

“We are going to give our support to the Black Stars to win the trophy.

“We are one family so we will show we are one so the players will know they are been supporters behind them are united,” according to Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa.
