Ghana have been ranked fourth-best in Africa in the latest Fifa/Coca-Cola World Ranking for 2013.

The Black Stars have moved up four places in the rankings to occupy the 26th position in the world. They finished off 2012 at the 30th spot.

The four-time African champions are behind Ivory Coast, Algeria and Mali in that order.

Spain are at the apex followed by Germany and Argentina.

According to FIFA, only 46 matches were included in the ranking since the last one in December. Eighteen of the fixtures took place in 2012, with the remaining 28 being played in the first half of January 2013.
