Division One League games moved to Saturday and Monday due to 2013 Afcon

The second-tier fixtures scheduled for Sunday have been spread between Saturday and Monday to enable Ghanaians to support the Black Stars
The Ghana Division One League games have been shifted to this Saturday and next week Monday because of Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations opening fixture against DR Congo.

According to the Division One League board chairman, Ntow Fianko, it is a step in the right direction to shift the games so that the Black Stars will get the needed attention in Ghana.

“The Division One League games were due to be played on Sunday, but the time which is 16.00 GMT coincides with the Ghana - DR Congo game,” he told Asempa Sports.

“We have shifted all the games to Saturday with two on Monday which includes the King Solomon vs Red Bull game.”

Fianko added: “This will help people to watch the Ghana game and we will all give the country our support.”
