Asante Kotoko’s Yaw Frimpong joins TP Mazembe

The guardsman is reported to have fetched the Porcupine Warriors $300,000 from the deal
Kumasi Asante Kotoko's lateral defender Yaw Frimpong has finally sealed his move to DR Congo champions TP Mazembe, Ghana understands.

The right-back has been on top of the radar of the former continental masters for so long, but a move there had always hit a snag before finally going through.

According to reports monitored from the camp of the Porcupine Warriors, the club will get an amount of $300,000 from the deal and it has also paved the way for more future transfers of Kotoko players.

Frimpong now becomes the fifth Ghanaian player signed by the Ravens after the likes of Daniel Nii Adjei, Gladson Awako, Kissi Boateng, and Solomon Asante.
