Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan could miss the international friendly against Tunisia on Sunday as team doctors monitor his ankle injury situation.
The Osasuna midfield enforcer had light training on Saturday night in Abu Dhabi as he recovers from injury.
According to the Ghana FA website, the player trained alone at the Zayed Sports Complex as doctors work on his ankle injury to enable him gain full fitness.
Annan has been under the watch of Dr Baba Adam while the Black Stars had its full training ahead of today’s friendly against Tunisia.
Coach Kwesi Appiah is likely to bench him as a precautionary measure since he failed to make the line-up for the game.
Annan was taken off during Thursday's 3-0 African Cup of Nations warm up win over Egypt in Abu Dhabi.
The midfielder fell awkwardly when he went for a challenge in the first half of the match at the Zayed Sports Complex.
