Edward Kpodo nears move to Russian premier league side Terek Gronzy
The Berekum Chelsea defender is the next on the list of the former Ghanaian champions to move out of the club this season
Berekum Chelsea defender Edward Kpodo will travel to Russia next week to finalise his move to Russian top flight side, Terek Grozny, Goal.com Ghana can confirm.The 23-year-old was one of Chelsea’s best performers during the last edition of the Caf Champions League.
The coach of the Russian premier league side, Stanislav Cherchesov is an admirer of Kpodo, it is understood.
Sources say the deal could be close to $600,000 but his personal terms will be discussed when he travels to Russia next week.
Meanwhile, Krylia Sevetov, Krasnodar and Kuban Krasnodar are also ready to acquire the services of Kpodo should the move to Terek Grozny falls through.
