The former Liberty Professionals midfielder joined the team following a successful loan spell at Greek’s lower division side, AC Fokikos with performances that caught the attention of many top flight clubs within and outside.
The former Udinese player who is also a nephew of the late Ghana football administrator Sly Tetteh is expected to form an integral part of coach Stelios Varouxakis side this season.
Tetteh will wear the number 52 jersey for his new club, making his maiden appearance at the Greek Hellenic League on Wednesday.
“I’m very happy to join Platanias FC. It feels good to be here and I hope to do my best for a regular spot in the team and help the team’s ambitions. My target is to play more matches for my new club,” Tetteh told Goal.com Ghana.
Aziz joined Italian side Udinese together with Black Stars duo Rabiu Mohamed and Kwadwo Asamoah. He has had to contend with loan stints at Spanish second-tier sides, Xerez, Granada, CD Leganes and Montaneros.
