Goal.com Ghana can exclusively confirm that the paramount chief of the New Edubiase traditional area Nana Edubiasehene has given the club a vast land in the town valued at GhC 50,000 for the construction of the pitch.
According to a close source to the club, work on a 30,000-seater capacity stadium will begin this year for the club to have their own stadium for their games.
The chief of Edubiase has been very helpful to the club as last year he rewarded them for qualifying for the Confederation Cup and also bringing honour to the town.
New Edubiase prior to moving their home venue to Bekwai were using the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
