The Black Stars coach is very hopeful he will head to the Rainbow Nation with a healthy team as Ghana set sight on a fifth title in 31 yearsGhana coach Kwesi Appiah has noted his prime focus now is to have a very fit contingent for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Coach Appiah is hopeful the pre-tournament camping in Abu Dhabi will bring out the best in his charges as Ghana prepare to annex their fifth title on the continent.
“I am very happy with how all the players have trained since we arrived here on Saturday morning," coach Appiah told the GFA official website.
“Training has been tough but very good for the players as I want to achieve some fitness level before we depart to South Africa.”
The Black Stars will be in the Gulf Region for 11 days and will round off their training sessions with test matches against Egypt and Tunisia in Abu Dhabi before departing to South Africa for the 29th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
