The 21-year-old has rubbished media reports that he is on his way out of the Serie A club due to limited games
Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie says he has never decided to leave Italian Seria A side Chievo.
There have been reports in the Ghanaian media that the 21-year-old could move to a club in the Serie B for playing time.
But the former Genoa player says he has not even thought of leaving Chievo, a side he joined at the start of the season though many clubs have expressed interest in him.
“It is true that I have had limited games since I came but why will I leave when I am now enjoying consistent playing time?" Cofie told Goal.com Ghana.
“The coach has started me in the last four matches and I exhausted the full time in each match so there is no need in even dreaming of quitting when things are favourable."
Cofie was first signed by Domenico Di Carlo, a manager who gave him limited opportunities but the arrival of Eugenio Corini in October has led to his status as a starter.
