Black Stars to meet president John Dramani Mahama on Thursday ahead of their camping in the United Arab Emirates

The Ghana Football Association has lined up series of activities on Thursday for the Black Stars before they departs to Abu Dhabi for camping ahead of the 2013 Afcon

The Black Stars of Ghana will visit the president of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama at the Castle, Osu on Thursday before the team departs to their camping base in Abu Dhabi on Friday ahead of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

The entire Black Stars squad, technical and management team will meet  President Mahama.

Thereafter, the squad will head to the Teshie Orphanage where they will make a donation of various items to the school to help in the upkeep of the orphans.

Further, the team  will also pay a visit to the offices of Zoom Lion to launch the 'A Clean Ghana is a Victorious Ghana' campaign to promote cleanliness and healthy living among Ghanaians as part of the team's social responsibility programme.

The Black Stars are expected to fly out to the Gulf Region on Friday for a training camp which will run from January 7-16, 2013.

A 26-man squad together with the technical team will embark on the trip to begin preparation for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
