Belgian Jupiler League side Lokeren are eager to have Ghanaian-born Australian winger Duke Kofi Appiah Danning on loan for the rest of the season.

Danning, 22, was signed by Belgian Second Division side CS Vise from Brisbane Roar last summer and has quickly established himself as the engine of the team thereby catching the attention of various clubs in the Jupiler League.

According to reports in the local Belgian media, Lokeren manager Peter Maes is a big fan of Danning and has been tracking him since his days at Sydney FC.

Danning, who has been capped by the Aussies at both the Under-20 and 23 levels, but is yet to get a senior call-up was one-time on the wanted list of Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
