Accra Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo is expected to train with the Local Black Stars team on Wednesday after a minor injury over the weekend.
The 20-year-old picked a knock while playing for Hearts in their 3-1 home loss to Medeama SC on Sunday and was sidelined from Tuesday’s training session.
He is under the supervision of the Local Black Stars medical staff who are hoping the striker will be able to train with the other team-mates on Wednesday.
“The only player who failed to take part of training was Mahatma who took a knock while playing for Hearts on Sunday,” Local Black Stars Management Committee member Kudjo Fianoo told Accra-based Happy FM.
“The doctors looked at him and he will be able to train with the team today [Wednesday].”
