Heart of Lions eager to bring striker Sam Yeboah back

The Kpando-based club are in talks with the Ghana Premier League 2003-04 season goal king to boost their forward line
Kpando Heart of Lions are ready to make a swoop for their former top marksman Sam Yeboah as they seek to bolster their attack for the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

A close source to the club hinted Goal.com Ghana talks with the former Gent striker are at an advance stage and it is possible he will play for the Pride of Volta once again.

Yeboah, 26, made name with Lions way back in the 2003-2004 Ghana Premier league season where he won the goal king race, but had an unsuccessful spell abroad playing for clubs including Moldovan side Sherrif Tiraspol, Israeli sides Kfar Saba, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Ashdod.

The striker terminated his contract with Cypriot side Nea Salamis Famagusta this year after playing 11 games for them and scoring three goals and he is now a free agent.
