thumbnail Hello,

The ‘Prince of Goals’ has reached an advanced stage with the Commandos and should seal a deal with his former side next week

Saudi Arabian club Al Ittifaq will complete the signing of their former striker Prince Tagoe by the close of next week as the team seeks to bolster their forward lines.

Goal.com Ghana can reveal talks have reached an advanced stage between the club and the player, who is a free agent, and he will put pen to paper by next week.

The ‘Prince of Goals’ enjoyed a successful spell with the Commandos scoring 36 goals in 54 appearances which helped them to win many laurels including the Gulf Cup in 2007.

The one-time Black Stars striker had a torrid time in Europe where he played for the likes of TSG Hoffenheim, Partizan Belgrade and Turkish side Bursaspor.

The striker was released by Buraspor early this year over poor performance.
