Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah is hinting he may switch positions soon on the field as a striker for the Porcupine Warriors.
The TV soccer reality show revelation revealed coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has been fielding him as an offensive player during training sessions, and he is optimistic that would be the turning point in his career with the Fabulous club.
“Coach Mas-Ud Dramani surprised me this week when he told me his gut feeling tells him I would do better in an offensive role, especially as a second striker,” Baah posted on his blog.
“True to his words, he has made me train as a ‘number 10′ the whole of this week and I am happy with that role. Interestingly, I scored a goal during Wednesday morning’s training regimen. Good sign? Yes! I think it is.”
Baah has, however, stated he needs to prove his versatility by doing well if the coach decides to play him in that role.
He said: “I have played in midfield positions earlier in my career at Zaytuna and Sporting Mirren so, changing my position is something I am used to.”
