Etoile du Sahel's Uriah Asante out for four weeks over broken arm

The midfielder is expected to return to action after a month as he takes a rest to nurse an injury that he sustained over the weekend
Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Uriah Asante will be off the pitch for a maximum of four weeks due to a broken arm injury.

The 19-year-old Etoile du Sahel player suffered the damage to his arm whiles in action against US Monastir over the weekend.

He said the injury has really affected his plans as he was looking forward to maintain a fine form into next year.

“Yes, it is true that I broke my arm, but I’m taking things easy now because all I need to do is to rest,” Asante, who has scored two goals in four appearances this season, told Ghana.

“It’s really sad, especially when it is coming at this time of the year. I want to keep my form and score, but life is most precious so I’ll heed the experts’ advice.”
