Ghanaian youngster Benard Asare joins Serie B side Sassuolo

The young midfielder, who joins the Serie B leaders after standing out during trials, was also on the radar of Modena Calcio
Cittadella's Ghanaian-born teenager Benard Asare has joined the youth team of Serie B leaders Sassuolo after impressing on trials recently.

The 14-year-old midfielder who was born in Modena will play for the junior side of the Stadia Alberto Braglia outfit.

“I was invited for trials by Sassuolo which I excelled to the admiration of the youth team coach,” Asare told Ghana.

“I have now joined Sassuolo which is one of the biggest clubs in Modena. It is very good for my development as I want to make the same impact I made at Cittadella.”

Asare, who is one of the most talented youngsters in Italy, was also on the radar of Modena Calcio.
