Sellas Tetteh appointed Black Satellites coach

The 2009 Under-20 Africa and World Cup winning coach will be in charge of the team at the next Africa edition in Algeria next March
The technical director of Liberty Professionals, Sellas Tetteh, has been appointed coach of the Black Satellites, a Ghana FA statement said.

The 2009 Under-20 Africa and World Cup winning coach will be in charge of the team at the next Africa edition in Algeria next March.

He is taking over from Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu, who qualified Ghana for next year's African U20 Championship, in an acting capacity.

The Black Satellites have been drawn in Group A with hosts Algeria, Benin and Egypt.

Title holders Nigeria will play Mali, Congo and Gabon in the other group.

It will be Ghana’s ninth appearance and have won the title on three occasions - 1993, 1999 and 2009).
