The midfielder must now be looking at other options after his dream return to Aduana Stars seems to be far from reality
Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Kofi Abanga’s dreams of returning to his former club, Aduana Stars have been blighted following a policy by the Brong Ahafo club not to sign any player in the current transfer window.
Abanga joined the Phobians five years ago when Aduana were in the second-tier but has failed to make any impact during his stay after series of injuries each season.
"We do not need any player now including Kofi Abanga. Our team is very intact and we are happy with the players we have now," the PRO of Aduana Stars, Felix Oppong Yeboah, told Asempa Sports.
"No player is going out and no one is coming in. We have over 70% of our old players there and we are very happy with the output of the entire squad,” the spokesperson added.
Abanga was hoping to go back to Aduana after putting in a transfer request but Hearts of Oak were willing to send him to Amidaus Professionals for a loan stint.
