Ugandan side Kampala City Council are demanding an amount of $30,000 from Kumasi Asante Kotoko for their striker Robert Katombo.

Goal.com Ghana understands that the hit man arrived in Kumasi in the company of his country man Joseph Orchaya, who already plays for the Porcupine Warriors to begin personal talks with the club.

Katombo was in fantastic form by netting five goals as the Cranes won the 2012 Cecafa Cup by beating Kenya.

Meanwhile, Kotoko have also officially written to New Edubiase for the services of their striker Bassit Mohammed as they seek to present a formidable team for their Caf Champions League campaign next year.
