Ghana FA to fire Black Satellites assistant coach Prince Owusu

The Tema Youth coach will be relieved of his assistant coaching duties with the Under-20 national team side because he has no License B coaching certificate
The Ghana Football Association is set to fire Black Satellites assistant coach Prince Owusu ahead of the Africa Under-20 championship slated for Morocco next year.

Credible reports reaching Ghana are that the decision to relieve the Tema Youth tactical brain of his national duties is due to the fact that he is not having the recognised Caf Licensed B coaching certificate which will have enabled him to sit at the dugout as the second in command.

So far, names such as under fire AshantiGold coach Yaw Acheampong, Yussif Abubakar of Berekum Chelsea as well as Sebastian Barnes of Bayer Leverkusen's U17 team are being considered to fill the void which will be left by Owusu in the coming days.

Owusu was appointed by the Ghana Football Association as the Black Satellites deputy coach after CK Akunnor refused to be the assistant when Maxwell Konadu was appointed as head coach.
