Hearts of Oak ready to pay $10,500 for Obed Ansah

Coach David Duncan is impressed with the player’s performance during training and has expressed interest to sign him
Accra Hearts of Oak are ready to splash out an amount of $10,500 (GhC 20,000) for the services of their former playmaker Obed Ansah as coach David Duncan seeks to strengthen his midfield.

Goal.com Ghana can exclusively reveal that the former Black Meteors player has impressed the newly-appointed coach in his training with the Phobians and they are ready to pay the whopping amount being demanded by the player’s manager.

Ansah, 25, decided not to renew his contract with the Rainbow club when it ended last two seasons, but went to South Africa where a proposed move to Bloemfontein Celtic collapsed due to disagreement in personal terms.

The midfielder played for Tarkwa United in the second round of last season's Division One league whilst a supposed move to Asante Kotoko also hit a snag.
